Insurers are fielding an estimated 100 ransomware claims per day, according to a ZDNet security columnist.
Of course you would much rather not have to file an insurance claim. That's a hassle and a time-sink. And if you don't have cyber insurance, you're looking at significant out-of-pocket recovery costs, not to mention your lost income and mental stress.
